Graceful soft pastels, and tones of nude, rose, lavender, gold, and gray appeared in soft flowing fabrics which has now become the new big color of the season. Swirling organza, transparent fabrics, embroidering, and antique laces will be seen this spring and summer. Ruffles, feathers and organza make a statement that is big, ornate and full of detail in Valentino's collection. The most lavish unexpected surprise of his collection were details of the lace wings that arched up the leg from the soft metallic heels decked out in feathers and lace. Very trendy style in fashion set by Valentino. Some of those models or pics look Goth, it’s almost as if Valentino is trying to bring about that style or have a vintage appeal. Historian or Victorian era, it’s always interesting to see the different times in the past come to be the new trend.
Good article. It’s refreshing to see an article where a girl admits that a) girls control the dating scene and b) girls often pick guys who “know how they love bags” rather than choose quality bags. I can’t tell you how many of my girl-friends say something to the effect of “I don’t know what I saw in that jerk!” Stuff like “The Pickup Artist” works…but its because it relies on psychology and manipulation. Not something to emulate, in my opinion.
